Established in 1990, the Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation is a private foundation dedicated to improving individuals’ lives by contributing to Türkiye’s social and economic development through projects in education, healthcare, and culture.

Through its initiatives in education, such as the construction of schools and secondary education dormitories for female students, healthcare projects including rehabilitation centers, and restoration works aimed at preserving cultural heritage, the Foundation continues to support both the past and the future with a total of 65 donation-based investments. To date, the Foundation has constructed and donated 23 girls’ dormitories, 1 university dormitory, 21 primary schools, 6 high schools, and 3 rehabilitation centers. Comprehensive support is provided to the Foundation in areas such as construction, project management, supervision, and compliance updates in compliance with current technical specifications for schools and dormitories.

In collaboration with the Foundation, the restoration of the Galata Mevlevihanesi was undertaken as part of efforts to preserve cultural heritage. Additionally, the architectural and structural design projects for the Istanbul University State Conservatory were commissioned and completed.

Following the 6th February Kahramanmaraş earthquake, the production of 700 living containers by Fiba Group, their delivery to the disaster region, and handover to AFAD represented a significant step in supporting citizens in urgent need of shelter in the Gaziantep and Hatay regions.
